Coach Scot Bemis and the Varsity Football team enjoyed an incredible season with an overall record of 13-1 and a win over Mingus Union High School to seal NDP's first 4A-II State Championship. Players selected to the First Team All Region were Sean Renfree (Quarterback), Brandon Hirneise (Receiver), Austin Briehl (Receiver), Andy Wilder (Secondary Punter), Shaun Ramirez (Linebacker), and Ryan Reardon (Linebacker). Sean Renfree was named team MVP and Region Player of the Year.
